Qalb Tounes MP Iyadh Elloumi explained a Facebook post on the howl generated by the confusion he made between Tunisian sociologist Ibn Khaldoun and former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
Elloumi cited Winston Churchill when it is really a quote from Ibn Khaldoun on the fundamental role of justice and equity in a civilization. Groundless to say how much Internet users were delighted by this misstep.
In the same context, he asked Kais Said’s supporters to examine the biography of this politician who declined to harm the justice of his country even at the cost of World War II.
