Japan promptly granted Tunisia non-refundable financial assistance estimated at 8 million dinars to concentrate on a high-tech monitoring and elaborate security system.
The grant will allow Tunisia to invest in surveillance and protection devices like the “facial recognition system” to further strengthen security measures.
The cooperative agreement was approved during the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) between Minister of Foreign Affairs Khemaies Jhinaoui and Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Kenji Yamada.
