A 30-year-old woman sustained wounds of varying degrees of severity in Al-Ala town ( Kairouan Governorate) when her brother violently assaulted her after he realised she had phone pushing him to assail her, remove her clothes and search her.
The woman succeeded to flee from her family’s house after climbing the fence and headed towards her neighbour’s house, the latter informed the security agents and took her to the hospital where she was given 22 days of rest. The girl was secured by one of her relatives by the National Guard units after receiving treatment.
