Independent nominee for the early presidential election, Kaïs Saïed stated that he is eagerly seeking to introduce new legal mechanisms for the people of Tunisia to achieve their will.
On the sidelines of his presidential election campaign, Saïed expressed in a official statement to “Jawhara FM”, that this project entails the necessary amendment of the Constitution, noting that he “does not sell illusions.”
He further emphasised the crucial need for the state to retrieve its social role, mainly the local establishment of a Higher Council of Education and health through the elaborate creation of a wellness centre between Sidi Bouzid and Kairouan, which comprise all health and medical facilities.
