Former MP and vice-president of the dissolved parliament, Tarek Fetiti confirmed, this Wednesday to a private radio, that the deputies solely did their duty by meeting, even at a distance. He called on President Kaïs Saïed to pull himself together and verify that Article 80, which he employed to freeze the parliament, stipulates that it must remain in a state of open meeting. Fetiti added that Saïed has no principled conflict with Ennahdha, and it was he who returned it to power after it was destabilized following the fall of the Habib Jemli government.
