President of the Republic Kais Saïed made an unexpected visit to Avenue Habib Bourguiba today.
He later moved to Medina where he was able to interact with a number of citizens concerning their situation and their concerns.
Speaking at the media microphone, Saïed declared that December 17 is the anniversary of the revolution and not January 14.
He also remarked on the shortage of basic foodstuffs recalling that a new Minister of Commerce has just been appointed.
“The ministerial reshuffle is insufficient, it is essential to fight against monopoly and speculation,” he said.
