The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, welcomed this afternoon on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Carthage palace, Ahmed Jaafar, president of the Fidaa Foundation, to support the victims of terrorist attacks, including soldiers, and Members of the internal security forces, customs forces and beneficiaries, among the martyrs and the wounded of the Revolution.
This meeting examined a draft revision of the decree creating this institution to support it more and to review a certain number of provisions so that this establishment can better reach the noble purposes for which it was created, according to A press release from the Presidency of the Republic.
The President of the Republic underlined that this institution, which bears the name of Fidaa, reflects that the Tunisian State will never forget the victims of the terrorist attacks, just as it will never forget those who are entitled among martyrs and Wounded at the Revolution, and the Tunisians will remain faithful to the blood of the wounded and the martyrs who wet the ground of this dear homeland of their blood.
