Tunisia’s newly elected president Kais Saied has been sworn in during a ceremony at the House of People’s Representatives (HPR).
In his speech, he vowed to combat corruption and protect freedoms, especially women’s rights.
President Kais Saied promised to strengthen women’s gains, asserting that “there is no question of affecting women’s rights and undermining their achievements. We will do our utmost to consolidate the economic and social rights of Tunisian women.”
