The body of a man in his fifties was found Friday evening, bearing signs of violence, in a residential area of the city of Kasserine, according to the First Deputy Prosecutor and official spokesperson for the Kasserine courts, Imed Al-Omari.
Al-Omari explained that the prosecutor’s office had gone to the scene to examine the body, which had a deep wound on the right wrist. He added that an investigation had been opened to clarify the circumstances of the death and determine possible responsibilities.
The investigation is continuing to determine the identity of the deceased and the circumstances of the incident, pending the results of medical and judicial investigations.
