The investigating judge at the First Instance Court of Kasserine issued two arrest warrants against two security officers on Monday, November 18, 2024. This followed the Public Prosecutor’s launch of an inquiry against nine security officers on charges of premeditated murder with prior intent and participation in the act, as confirmed by Imed El-Omri, the deputy prosecutor and official spokesperson for the Kasserine court.
He stressed that the investigating judge had released seven security officers under the same case.
It is worth noting that the case concerns a raid that resulted in the death of a person in Kasserine, according to preliminary information.
