The land border guard units of Foussana, in the Tala National Guard zone, Kasserine region, were capable, in a qualitative operation, of dismantling a criminal network specializing in drug trafficking, according to what the General Directorate of the National Guard reported in a statement.
This operation follows in-depth inquiries and precise monitoring on the ground, which led to the seizure of a vehicle loaded with a quantity of contraband fuel.
During the operation carried out by the aforementioned units and the search of the truck, 700 cannabis plaques were seized.
After examining the file, the Public Prosecutor’s Office authorized the required legal measures to be taken.
