Tunisia- kilo of chilli varies between 1 and 2 dinars, according to the Ministry of Commerce

The Ministry of Commerce revealed that the wholesale market of Bir Kassaa was provided with 570 tons of vegetables and 290 tons of fruits on the 19th day of Ramadan. According to the same source, the prices of the majority of vegetables suffered a decline of 32% compared to the first day of Ramadan. Pepper prices range between 1,300 dinars/kg and 1,700 dinars/kg in the wholesale markets and between 2,300 dinars/kg and 2,500/kg at the retail level. In addition, tomato prices deviate between 0,900 millimes/kg and 1,600 dinars/kg in the wholesale markets. 11,184 economic violations were noted on the sidelines of 63,803 visits carried out by 3,056 economic control teams.

6838 pieces of food products

1,220 tonnes of dried fruit
