The secretary-general of Tunisia’s secondary school teachers’ union Lassaad Yacoubi expressed disappointment at the Education Ministry’s negligence in the face of the spread of Coronavirus in schools.
According to him, the Ministry of Education did not respect the health protocol, which explains the increase in the number of infections in schools.
“The ministry has yet to disinfect any establishment, despite the agreement with the union that the supervisory authority has committed to disinfect all establishments before the start of the school year,” he added.
At the same time, he stressed that the protest rally scheduled for today from 11 a.m. to noon is a message addressed to the Ministry of Education in order to provide the minimum conditions and apply preventive measures.
