The Interior Ministry has declared the opening of an inquiry into the leaked documents into social media.
These documents correlate to security appointments made by dismissed Interior Minister Taoufik Charfeddine.
In a statement released on Thursday, January 7, 2021, the ministry affirmed that in light of this investigation, the necessary measures will be taken against anyone implicated in this offence.
Recall that prime minister Hichem Mechichi had withdrawn the appointments decided by Charfeddine and leaked on social networks.
