The Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) revealed on Wednesday that the submission of applications for the election of MPs is set from October 17 at 8 a.m. to October 24 at 6 p.m.
These applications will be reviewed before October 31, in accordance with the schedule linking to the legislative elections. The list of candidates will be displayed at the ISIE headquarters and posted on its electronic site at the latest, on November 1, adds the ISIE.
The ISIE had adopted, on September 20, the schedule of legislative elections planned for December 17 in the country and on December 15, 16 and 17 for Tunisians living abroad.
The automatic registration of voters began on September 21, while disputes relating to the voter’s list are examined between September 26 and October 13.
