The Tunisian League for Human Rights (LTDH), Jendouba section called, in a press release, for the rapid release of Tabarka’s mayoress Amel Aloui, incarcerated in Sers prison, Kef governorate. It considers that the reasons for her detention are not convincing.
The regional section of the league has consequently designated one of its lawyers, Kaïs Mohsni, to follow up on the case, who has submitted a request for release to the investigating judge. It likewise mandated a delegation chaired by its vice-president Fadhel Bedhiafi, to visit the mayor.
