“Erraya al Watania” leader Mabrouk Korchid, regarded that article 5, which shows that only the State works for the realization of Islamic purposes, of the draft of the new Constitution will make the long-debated among extremists.
The latter will take advantage of this chance to slip the purposes of Islamic prescriptions into all legal texts, according to him.
“Since the texts of law are opposed to those linking to Islamic purposes, the Constitutional Court will even be forced to delete any text inconsistent with them,” he wrote. He added that this long-awaited text by the Islamists was finally able to see the light of day thanks to the project of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied.
