The governorate of Mahdia reported 230 new infections and nine deaths from the coronavirus, regional health director Hamouda Babba announced.
The tally currently stands at 11327 infections including 246 since the spread of the pandemic.
Meantime,173 new recoveries were recorded, taking the recovery tally to 7527.
