The vice-president of the independent higher body for the elections (ISIE), Maher Jedidi, declared the creation of a cell within the electoral commission that will be responsible for monitoring audiovisual media coverage, in anticipation of the planned legislative elections Next December 17.
Jedidi told that this decision comes following the impossibility of signing a joint decision with the audiovisual communication committee “Haica”.
In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, he added that the human resources which will be assigned by the electoral commission compared to this task will be highly qualified, adding that contracts in the matter will be concluded at the central and regional level.
