Speaking to a private radio, member of the scientific committee for the fight against Covid-19 Mahjoub Ouni addressed the increase in the number of infections in the country.
He clarified that the reluctance to vaccinate and the non-respect for sanitary measures including wearing masks are at the root of this increase. Ouni expressed that the Omicron BA5 sub-variant is the most widespread in Tunisia revealing that it is spreading very fast.
