The FIFA has promptly informed, Malian Prime Minister Boubou Cisse and the minister of youth and sport Arouna Modibo Toure that Mali could be disqualified from 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals.FIFA threatens to implement disciplinary measures if the government doesn’t stop its interference.
If properly implemented, the team will be banned from taking part in any kind of football-related activity. The team will also be suspended from participating in 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Africa Cup of Nations Group E includes Tunisia, Mauritania, Angola and Mali. If disqualified Gabon or Burkina Faso will take Mali place.
