One of the victims of poisoning, due to the consumption of adulterated alcohol in the delegation of Sidi Makhlouf in Medenine, passed away this Wednesday, January 10, 2024, further increasing the toll which now counts 6 deaths.
It should be recalled that this affair broke out last Saturday when about fifty people were poisoned after consuming adulterated alcohol.
Two people accused of manufacturing and distributing adulterated alcohol were apprehended and taken into custody.
The public prosecutor ordered the opening of an inquiry into “premeditated murder”.
