The Deputy Secretary-General of the UGTT in Medenine, Habib Zemmouri confirmed to Tunisie Numérique that a number of agents operating within the SONEDE district in Medenine attempted to stop their colleagues by force to participate in the strike.

Zemmouri said that these practices are at the root of the defamation campaign launched against the UGTT since the announcement of the date of the strike.
