An extremist, previously unfamiliar to security services, approached an officer on duty in front of the Tunis Medina police station on Thursday evening, carrying a large knife in his hand and yelling “Allah Akbar”.
The station chief had to intervene to immobilize him, as he proceeded to shout “Allah Akbar” and declare that he preferred death to the Taghout (potentates).
After searching his house on the order of the prosecution, another knife, a book with takfirist content and a computer. The prosecution ordered his detention and the seizure of all this material.
