The regional syndicate for farmers Menzel Jemil confirmed the detection of bluetongue clusters leading to the death of 18 sheep in the past three days.
According to an official statement, the disease was diagnosed by a veterinarian on the spot. All breeders are called for caution, disinfect their stables and inform the veterinarian about any suspected case until the treatment is resolved.
