Tunisia-Minister of Health to send a medical team to Kairouan

In the light of the continued spread of COVID-19 in the governorate of Kairouan, minster of health Faouzi Mehdi decided to send a medical team that specialises in urgency and resuscitation lead by the director of general health Dr Faisal Ben Salah with the participation of the president of the family committee Doctor Ihab Labban and member of the Scientific Committee Dr Jalila bin Khalil.

The reinforcement comes as a continuation of the effort of the ministry of health to support the COVID-19 Control Centers in Kairouan after the visit of doctor Faouzi Mehdi on June 6 in which he approved the strengthening of the coronavirus Centers with 40 oxygen beds,08 supplementary ICU beds, increasing oxygen stocks, and backing the ambulance fleet with 18 cars in which two vehicles were received while another  (02) will be delivered early next week.

The department also renewed its call for regional and central authorities to implement the law and apply preventive measures and not allow gatherings and celebrations and anything that might deepen the critical epidemiological situation. It also urged citizens to respect exceptional measures with responsibility in order to break the circle of infection.
