The Director of the National Observatory of Supply and Prices at the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, Ramzi Trabelsi, confirmed in a press statement he made today, Thursday, February 6, 2025, that the quantities of sugar available are sufficient for two months of consumption.
He furthermore pointed out that the quantities of coffee in the warehouses of the Tunisian Trade Office are estimated at 3,000 tons.
The same source pointed out that the share of coffee has been divided into 70 percent for professional consumption and 30 percent for family consumption, remarking that the division has now been changed and 60 percent of the share of coffee is allocated for professional use and 40 percent for family consumption.
Trabelsi also confirmed that during the month of Ramadan, 50 percent of the coffee quota will be for family consumption and 50 percent for professional consumption.
