The finance ministry announced the document leaked by some media is an unfinished version of the 2022 finance bill and is consequently unofficial.
In a statement issued on Monday, November 1, 2021, the ministry revealed that “the bill is still being finalized and that work is underway to finish the provisions it contains.”
The department called for checking with official sources and making sure to publish correct data so as not to mislead public opinion.
