Following the dramatically spread of the new strain of the Coronavirus, the Ministry of Health declared that it is approximately monitoring the evolution of the epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 pandemic at the global and national levels.
In a press release, the department said it proceeds to assess the effectiveness of preventive measures currently adopted in order to adjust them according to epidemiological data and the requirements of the global health crisis.
In addition, it highlighted the necessity to act to curb the acceleration of the spread of this pandemic in Tunisia.
On this basis, the Ministry of Health is operating on the development of recommendations adapted to the evolution of the health situation for presentation to the National Committee for the Fight against the Coronavirus, which will meet on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
