Tunisia – Ministry of Justice Issues Warning

The Ministry of Justice confirmed that “the required measures will be taken following what the law requires, against anyone looking to carry out malicious campaigns and to publish information or content that harm the reputation of peopleand the organs of the state and the countryside that target judges or constitute a threat to their security, “according to a press release.

The ministry stressed its “commitment to implement the law and impose its supremacy to all, to preserve the prestige of the State”.

This happens according to what the ministry indicated in its report, “following the declarations which circulated on certain electronic pages and social media platforms which impact the reputation and the integrity of the institutions of the State and public security”.

In the same context, the Ministry of Justice called on the judges and all the components of the judicial family to “continue to exert their functions with full dedication and responsibility, and to work to consolidate the principles of justice and equality and impose the rule of law ”.
