The Ministry of Social Affairs declared that 500,000 families have profited from exceptional social assistance of 300 dinars so far. According to the same source, the families who benefited from the aid are distributed as follows:
- 260,000 aid for needy families with fixed monthly income
- 240,000 grants for low-income families benefiting from reduced-rate healthcare cards
822,000 families have been enrolled on the amen.social.tn platform and 200,430 of them have been approved by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Affected families will receive text messages to open a virtual account by dialing # 1021 * in order to profit from social assistance.
