The Interior Ministry recollected that two individuals were placed under house arrest last Thursday following news relating to suspicions of involvement in a severe threat to public security.
In accordance with the decision of the public prosecutor, the security unit in charge of counter-terrorism cases carried out the required inquiries in this regard.
It was consequently decided to lift the house arrest of the two individuals concerned since the public prosecutor took charge of the case in question, adds the same source.
