Leader of the Democratic Current, Mohamed Abbou urged prime minster designate Habib Jemli to settle the government formation as soon as possible, pointing to “a remarkably unsatisfactory and unsound situation”.He estimated that his party was not accountable for the obstruction in settling the government.
Speaking at a convention designated ” individual and collective rights and the dialectic of the revolution”, in Manouba, he dismissed receiving any invitation from Jemli following his party withdrawal from discussions to form the government.
He added that his will reconsider if his party is offered to join the government, indicating that the Democratic current will have no reservations about the presence of any other political party, as long as it does not escape the rule of law, Reported the TAP agency.
He further reaffirmed his party desire to get hold of the ministries of interior, justice and administrative reforms.
