Ennahdha member Mohamed Ben Salem announced that his party should assume its responsibility to the people, affirmed that the party had made a huge mistake in recommending ministers suspected of corruption. He added that the executive office of the Ennahdha Movement is at the heart of the political crisis as it asserted on validating all the suggested ministers.
Mohamed Ben Salem said that Rached Ghannouchi did not bring any added value to either Ennahdha or the country, emphasising that many party members asked him to voluntarily relinquish the presidency of Parliament after presenting a motion to withdraw confidence from him, but he declined to do so
