Properly following the provisions of paragraphs 84 – 85, president of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People Mohamed Ennaceur promptly took the presidential oath. Mohamed Ennaceur will serve as Tunisia’s interim president following president Beji Caid Essebsi’s passing. The oath ceremony commenced by reciting Al Fātiḥah on Beji Caid Essebsi.
