A lounge slid and hit a tree in Skanes, Monastir causing eight to be injured and the driver to be stuck inside the vehicle.
No human loss was recorded however, the accident prompted panic and injuries of various degrees among the riders, Local Secretary-General for Civil Protection Achref Ben Saied told Shems FM.
The same source added that civil protection units intervened to get the driver out of the vehicle. All passengers were transported to Fatouma Bourguiba hospital for treatment.
