Former Tunisian Foreign Minister Mongi Hamdi congratulated the Libyan brothers for having succeeded in “choosing an interim national unity government, succeeding competing governments in a nation split by war and divided in previous years.”
“We hope that this first democratic step is a historic chance to preserve Libya’s sovereignty, the unity of its territories and its institutions, particularly since it resolves the issue of anarchy”, he wrote in a Facebook post.
