Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, mother of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Emir of the State of Qatar and Chairperson of Qatari Majda acquired all capital shares of Zaitouna bank.
According to Tunisian website “ilboursa.com” group, Triki assigned all its shares to Qatari Majda during an auction. The grand total of sold shares amounts to 20.903% of the bank’s capital. The transaction was estimated at 111.88 million dinars ($ 38.7 million). This latest transaction befalls a year after Triki acquired 102.8 million dinars of estimated shares in the bank.
