A security patrol discovered this morning, Tuesday May 24, 2022, a newborn infant on the side of the street. In a statement to a private radio, the infant was initially moved to the Permanence Center of the governorate of Nabeul, and after consultation with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Child Protection Representative in Nabeul, the baby was transported to Mohamed Tlatli Regional Hospital in Nabeul to undergo the required medical examinations.
Preliminary data indicate that the infant is barely a week old, and an inquiry has been opened to this effect.
