Tunisia-Nabeul recods 2 deaths,117 new infections with COVID-19

COVID-19 claimed the life of two more patients on Wednesday in the governorate of Nabeul bringing the death tally to 38 since the start of the pandemic.
In a statement Thursday to the TAP agency, the director of preventive health in Nabeul, Mr Omar Sellimi emphasised that the first deceased, aged 78, died in a private clinic in Hammamet while the second, aged 85 years, died in the military hospital of Tunis.

According to the same source, the region has encountered 117 new cases until Tuesday, October 13, 2020, bringing the total number of infected to 1951 people, of whom 1112 still carry the virus.

The new cases were as follows: 37 cases in Nabeul, 19 in Korba, 16 in Dar Chaâbane El Fehri, 14 in Hammamet, 13 in Béni Khiar, 4 cases in each of the delegations of Béni Khaled, Kélibia and Menzel Temim, 2 case in each of the delegations of Grombalia and Menzel Bouzelfa, and a single case respectively in the delegations of El Haouaria and Bou Argoub.
