Attayar Nabil Hajji, questioned the non-participation of several Tunisian organizations in the referendum campaign, which was launched by thehead of the state Kais Saied.
“To understand that this is a theatre, the list of organizations that have enlisted to participate in the referendum campaign does not include UTICA, UTAP, the Tunisian League for the Defense of Human Rights, or the National Union of Tunisian Women. These organizations partook in the national dialogue to draft the constitution of the new Republic, and they were official members of the dialogue commissions, so why did they not desire to participate in Saied referendum (…)” he wrote.
