A member of Nabil Kroui defence team asserted that the Financial and Economic Judiciary pole questioned his client for 8 hours. In a statement to “Tunis Afrique Presse,” Mekki said that the interrogation will resume tomorrow due to insufficient time. Moreover, the investigation took place in a suitable condition.
Mekki remarked that the issues associated with Karoui lawsuit were not as simple as they incorporate many accounting aspects that entail a lot of scrutinies. Karoui told the court that all his financial and accounting transactions are legal and that all pieces of evidence acquired by I watch were void. The Financial and Economic Judiciary pole chose to keep all precautionary measures that were taken against Karoui.
