In a statement to the TA¨ agency, Najla Abrougui, a council member of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) stated that the deadline for holding the presidential election should not surpass October 23, 2024, according to constitutional deadlines.
According to the same source, the announcement of the official date of polling day for this election remains dependent on the decree relating to gathering voters promulgated by the President of the Republic at least three months before the end of the presidential term.
And to add that the presidential calendar will be set in the coming days and that the constitutional and legal deadlines remain open.
