Tunisia- National Anger day observed by Unions of public health professionals

A National Day of Anger ”, will be observed, today December 8, 2020, by a cooperative of trade unions of professionals in the public health sector, under the theme“ Save your hospital, save your life ”, after doctor Badreddine Alouideath due to falling into a defective elevator shaft at the Jendouba Regional Hospital.

The General Health Federation, the Syndicates of Doctors, Pharmacists and Dentists of University Hospitals, the Orders of Physicians, Pharmacists, Public Health Dentists and the Tunisian Association of Young Physicians (ATJM), issued a joint press release calling on all public health professionals under the Ministry of Health, to join in a “National Day of Anger”, according to which all academic and non-urgent health services will be suspended.

This day of anger will be observed through “a gathering in health establishments, the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, the Higher School of Health Sciences and Techniques of Tunis, the Higher Institute of Nursing Sciences of Tunis before heading at 10 am, to the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, then Kasbah governmental palace, where “a message of anger” will be delivered to the government.
