Speaking on the national radio, MP Hichem Ajbouni blamed the July 25 events on the Ennahdha party. He pointed out that the past 10 years characterised by the spread of corruption have given legitimacy to the measures declared on July 25. Ajbouni addressed in the same context as the address given by the President of the Republic Kais Saied to Sidi Bouzid, specifying that it was a speech of hatred and division.
He added that the Democratic Current is not against Kais Saied but rather against the autocracy. “The Democratic Current supported Kais Saied and the state of emergency measures, nevertheless, things changed after the Constitution was suspended,” he revealed.
As for the latest measures taken by the Head of State, Ajbouni called what occurred a scandal.
