Nidaa Tounes declared at a rally held in Sfax in the attendance of the leaders of the movement’s executives structures and various grass-root members, their official support for presidential nominee Abdelkrim Zbidi. The Movement additionally denounced the conduct of customs agents against Hafedh Caid Essebsi, at Tunis Carthage airport.
On his part, President of Nidaa Tounes central committee Hafedh Caid Essebsi notified the members directly from France that the party reemphasises its support for Zbidi. Essebsi called the latter as uniting national voice far from any political positioning.
