Sfax Port welcomed today, Thursday, October 12, 2023, several people between tourists and staff aboard the Renaissance cruise ship from Malta.
This is Renaissance’s first trip to Tunisia after several years of absence, declared the Ministry of Transport.
According to the Ministry of Transport, this operation is part of the diversification of the offer of port services in the different commercial ports.
Afterwards, docking of the Renaissance cruise ship is scheduled at the Port of Sousse and La Goulette.
As a reminder, the folk welcome dedicated to tourists upon their arrival at the ports has been cancelled. The President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed indicated on October 2 during a meeting with the Minister of Tourism that dances, ululations and similar acts are not appropriate reception practices for tourists.
