Speaking to the TAP agency, director-general of the Institut Pasteur and member of the national committee to fight against COVID, Hachemi Louzir affirmed that the scientific committee which met this afternoon retained many recommendations that will be transmitted to the national committee, with the aim of strengthening prevention measures against the virus, as a consequence of the deterioration of the epidemiological situation.
He, nevertheless, clarified that the commission has not proposed a general lockdown, let alone suspension of classes.
