In a media statement, UGTT Secretary-General Noureddine Tabboubi underlined on the sidelines of the opening of the Ordinary Congress of the Regional Labor Union in Jendouba the significance of the role of national organizations in the decision-making process in the country. Tabboubi expressed that national organizations played a major role in giving the country independence and must be consulted before any decision that involves the interest of Tunisians. “These parties made an actual contribution in building the state after independence,” he added.
