Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Noureddine Taboubi warned of lifting the general lockdown due to any exercised pressure.
In a speech delivered on the celebration of Labour Day, he stressed that such decision must be stemmed only from qualified health structures in the country and need to be guided by transparent procedures in protecting workers and guarantee their safety.
